Role Overview

The Senior Purchase Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor

coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services at competitive prices.

The role involves handling end-to-end purchase processes, maintaining supplier

relationships, monitoring inventory requirements, and supporting cost optimization

initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendor partnerships

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers

• Monitor vendor performance related to quality, delivery timelines, and service

standards

• Resolve vendor-related issues, discrepancies, and escalations effectively

Procurement & Sourcing

• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services as per operational

requirements





• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions

• Coordinate with internal departments for purchase planning and requirement

forecasting

• Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives

Purchase Order Management

• Prepare, review, and process purchase orders accurately and within timelines

• Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials/services

• Coordinate with stores, accounts, and operations teams for smooth processing and

closure of orders

Inventory & Material Planning

• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory

• Coordinate with stores and planning teams for replenishment requirements

• Ensure availability of critical materials for uninterrupted operations

Documentation &Reporting;

• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, invoices, and vendor

documentation

• Generate MIS reports related to procurement act
