Role & responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key government departments, regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and local stakeholders.
- Liaise with various departments including: Revenue Department ,District Collector & Tehsildar Offices.
- Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) ,Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL),Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC).
- Environment Department / State Environmental Authorities, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Gram Panchayats, Municipal Corporations, and Local Self-Government Bodies.
- Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) and related agencies
- Pollution Control Board and other statutory authorities
- Facilitate approvals, permits, NOCs, land-related clearances, and regulatory compliances required for solar projects.
- Support land acquisition, project development, transmission connectivity,



and project execution teams in resolving government and regulatory matters.
- Monitor policy and regulatory developments impacting the renewable energy sector and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Represent the organization in meetings with government authorities, industry associations, and external stakeholders.
- Develop community and local stakeholder engagement plans to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile
- 8-15 years of experience in Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, External Affairs, or Regulatory Affairs.
- Experience in Solar, Renewable Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Utilities, or Industrial sectors preferred.
- Robust network and working relationships with Maharashtra government departments and regulatory authorities.
