Role & responsibilities
- Develop and customize SAP Spartacus storefront applications for SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
- Implement responsive and mobile-first user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
- Integrate Spartacus with SAP Commerce APIs (OCC APIs).
- Customize out-of-the-box Spartacus components and develop new reusable components.
- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand eCommerce requirements.
- Participate in end-to-end development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend application issues.
- Implement security, authentication, and authorization requirements.
- Collaborate with backend SAP Commerce developers for seamless integration.
- Prepare technical documentation and development guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Angular
- TypeScript
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- HTML5
- CSS3 / SCSS
- RxJS
- Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and OCC APIs.
- Understanding of component-based architecture and responsive web design.
- Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud implementation projects.
- Knowledge of SAP CDC (Customer Data Cloud) integration.
- Exposure to SAP BTP and cloud-based solutions.
- Understanding of eCommerce business processes such as:
- Product Catalog Management
- Search & Navigation
- Cart & Checkout
- Order Management
- Customer Account Management
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
