About the role
You'll run end-to-end payroll for a group of Canadian businesses — a portfolio of retirement homes (~300 staff across 12 homes) plus hotel and apartment employees. You'll operate the Canadian payroll software and own the accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality of every pay cycle, working as part of a Delhi-based team that supports the Canadian operation directly.
What you'll do
- Run full end-to-end payroll cycles for the retirement homes (~300 employees), plus hotel and apartment staff.
- Process recent hires, terminations, timesheets, variable hours, and adjustments in the Canadian payroll system (e.g., Dayforce/ Workday / Payworks).
- Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies ahead of approval.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support period-end and year-end payroll reporting.
- Keep strict, access-controlled confidentiality of all compensation and employee data.
Must-have
- 3–6 years of hands-on payroll processing, ideally high-volume.
- Meticulous, deadline-driven, and numerically precise.
- Strong English and comfort handling highly sensitive data.
- Available to work the EST night shift, in-office.
Nice-to-have
- Exposure to Canadian payroll (Dayforce, Payworks, Workday, ADP).
- Multi-entity / high-volume payroll.
- Familiarity with Canadian payroll concepts and Laws(CPP / EI / source deductions).
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
