The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to build and grow assigned pharmaceutical brands. The role involves market analysis, product positioning, promotional planning, sales force support, KOL engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement brand marketing strategies to achieve sales and market share targets.
- Prepare annual brand plans, marketing calendars, and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct market research and analyze prescription trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Develop promotional materials such as visual aids, leave-behinds, digital content, product literature, and campaign tools in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Plan and execute product launches and lifecycle management strategies.
- Organize CMEs, conferences, webinars, and scientific events to engage healthcare professionals.
- Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical experts.
- Coordinate with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams for seamless execution.
- Monitor brand performance using KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage brand budgets and optimize marketing ROI.
- Ensure all promotional activities comply with company policies and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing (preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with at least 1–3 years in a Brand Manager or Assistant Brand Manager role.
- Experience in ethical/pharma prescription products is preferred.
