- Develop detailed supply schedules
- Align supply with erection priorities and site readiness
- 2. Purchase Order (PO) Management
- 3. Vendor Coordination & Expediting
- 4. Supply Chain & Dispatch Management
- 5. Logistics & Transportation Coordination
- Plan movement of structural materials considering.
Site Coordination
- Ensure material availability at site as per erection plan
- Avoid:
- Material shortages at work front
- Excess inventory and congestion
- Support just-in-time delivery strategy
Interface Management
- Mechanical I erection team
- QA/QC & inspection team
- Ensure smooth coordination between supply and execution
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain:
- Daily I weekly MIS reports
- Supply vs plan (MT-wise tracking)
- Present:
- Delay analysis
- Risk status
- Recovery plans
Quality & Documentation
- Ensure availability of:
- Drawings (IFC I approved)
- Inspection reports
- Material Test Certificates (MTC)
- Coordinate inspection clearance before dispatch
- Maintain complete documentation trail
Cost & Contract Awareness
- Monitor:
- Freight costs
- Handling & storage costs
- Support:
- Claims related to delays or variations
- Ensure cost-effective execution of supply chain
Digital Tools & Systems
- Use tools like:
- Excel (Gantt charts, dashboards)
- Primavera I MS Project (if applicable)
- Maintain real-time tracking systems
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure protected handling and transport of materials
- Adhere to:
- Project safety standards
- Statutory transportation guidelines
