Join us as a Lead SDET at Barclays, responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality and governance standards. You'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. To be successful as a Lead SDET you should have experience with:
- Automate using agreed / standard automation framework (Java/Selenium/Cucumber/BDD/Python/RDBMS)
- Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience implementing BDD frameworks using Cucumber
- Good working experience in Java / Python, Selenium / Cucumber BDD/Gherkin
- Hands on experience in API testing and automation using REST Assured.
- Excellent SQL / Unix / Linux skills.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.




- Ability to integrate automated test suites into deployment pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Maven and/or Gradle for dependency and build management.
- Proficiency in GitLab for source code management.
- Excellent in Restful / Json / xml Protocol
- Take complete ownership of assigned user stories i.e., understanding, collaborating with BAs / POs / Architects, scripting and executing within the sprint cycle.
- Ensure the documents like test cases, auto scripts, detailed status reports, test completion reports are prepared by the team and necessary signoffs have been obtained.
- Ensure active participation in daily scrum calls, provide updates, and raise impediments timely.

Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include
- Experience in Banking/Financial Services domain preferred.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments and up-to-date automation practices.
- Mentoring or leading QA automation teams is an added advantage.
