We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing electrical components into a wide range of engineering projects, supporting the design, testing, and delivery of high-quality electrical systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to project execution.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing and implementing testing methods.
- Test finished products and verify system performance against project specifications.
- Ensure all electrical equipment and testing tools remain operational and calibrated.
- Perform quality assurance checks to maintain high product and project standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Support engineering design reviews, technical documentation, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, health and safety regulations, and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Required Skills
- Solid problem-solving, analytical, technical, mathematical, and scientific skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience working on wastewater treatment or water infrastructure projects, with exposure to UK water sector projects or international wastewater treatment projects.
- Experience in electrical design, testing, commissioning, and quality assurance for wastewater treatment facilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with UK and/or international engineering standards and best practices for water and wastewater projects will be an advantage.
- Design electrical, control, monitoring and telemetry systems for wastewater treatment plants, ensuring compliance with British standards BS7671 & WIMES
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidis
