Job Description
Role Summary
As an
Embedded DevOps Engineer
, you will work closely with a
product development team
and act as the key enabler for getting services
production‑ready
in GCP. This role is the “engine” that helps product teams onboard to our




cloud, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational readiness practices
, ensuring services can be deployed, supported, and run reliably in production.

Key Responsibilities
- Work embedded with product teams to enable secure and repeatable deployments from DEV to PROD, including application releases and infrastructure changes.
- Build, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles and ensure teams follow standard guardrails.
- Develop and maintain application‑specific Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to deploy services (containers/VMs, secrets, load balancers, certs) using reusable platform components.
- Act as first responder for production incidents for the applications you support; drive operational concerns to closure in partnership with SRE/ROC and development teams.
- Improve operational efficiency by automating repetitive tasks and contributing to self‑service frameworks for developers.
