Key Responsibilities
- Fabric Utilization: Maximize fabric consumption efficiency to minimize waste, ensuring the lowest possible marker consumption.
- Production Scheduling: Plan and coordinate daily cutting schedules based on the sewing line requirements and delivery timelines.
- Marker Planning: Review marker layouts to confirm correct sizing, grain lines, and alignment before spreading begins.
- Process Supervision: Oversee fabric relaxation, spreading, marking, cutting, bundling, and numbering processes.
- Shade Management: Manage fabric shade variations by ensuring separate bundling and preventing shade mixing during the cutting stage.
- Blade and Safety Control: Ensure proper cutting techniques are used and maintain strict safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of chain-mail hand gloves.
- Audit & Validation: Verify that the cut panels precisely match the buyer-approved patterns and Tech Pack specs. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
