Senior Azure Linux Administrator
The role of a Senior Azure Linux Administrator(L3) is crucial for
configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Linux infrastructure across Red
Hat, SUSE, and Ubuntu environments, with a robust focus on Azure Cloud
operations. In this role, the engineer must have deep handson expertise
in Linux administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and
automation workflows. Since the environment is primarily hosted on
Azure, with additional workloads on onpremises infrastructure and AWS,
the engineer must be wellversed in Azure CLI, runbooks, shell
scripting, and Azure automation frameworks to ensure operational
excellence and scalability.

Preferred candidate profile

Linux & Azure Proficiency Strong expertise in Linux system
administration (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu) and Azure platform operations.
- Linux Infrastructure Management Experience in managing Linux
environments including file system management, package management,
patch management, LVM, NFS, and advanced troubleshooting.




- Azure Cloud Operations Proven experience in provisioning, operating,
and maintaining systems running on Azure. Ability to provide Azure
operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout
project lifecycles.
- Azure Networking & Security Experience with Azure Security Groups,
VPC, routing tables, subnets, and secure networking practices.
- System Hardening & Vulnerability Management Understanding of patch
management, server hardening, and TLS/SSL vulnerability management.
- Cloud Services Knowledge Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and
SaaS services in cloud environments.
- Monitoring & Cost Management Knowledge and experience in monitoring,
logging, and cost management tools.
- Automation & Workflows Expertise in Azure automation, Azure CLI,
runbooks, and automation workflows to streamline deployments,
monitoring, and incident resolution. Ability to design and implement
automation frameworks that reduce manual effort and impr
