Senior Project Buyer:
In this role you will lead strategic sourcing and supplier localization by driving zerobased costing, negotiations, and endtoend supplier management, also by ensuring strong crossfunctional alignment with engineering and quality teams while improving supplier performance and product cost efficiency. You will also focuses on achieving material cost savings, quality compliance, and continuous process optimization.
Your job:
- Perform zerobased cost estimation for major engineering commodities to support strategic sourcing and costoptimization
- Coordinate with Engineering, Product Development, and Quality teams to finalize localization specifications and ensure crossfunctional alignment
- Manage endtoend sourcing processes including negotiations, contracting, supplier delivery, and quality assurance with clear impact on P&L;
- Oversee supplier lifecycle management from sourcing and evaluation to execution, delivery performance, and quality compliance
- Identify and drive costsaving opportunities and operational improvements,
especially in subcontracting and outsourced activities
- Develop and optimize processes to ensure products meet company quality standards and align with local operating conditions
- Support management in improving supplier quality through structured assessments, feedback loops, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Leverage early supplier involvement and global commodity strategies to maximize synergies and achieve material cost optimization
Our requirements:
- B.E. Mechanical Engineer with 510 years of experience in procurement, supplier development, and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on expertise in SAP MM with strong capability in handling endtoend procurement and materials management activities
- Proficient in negotiation, costing analysis, budgeting, and planning with a proven track record of driving cost-effective sourcing decisions
- Robust technical knowledge in casting, machining, extrusion, injection molding,
