Job description

Role Overview

To establish,



implement and continuously improve a protected working environment across the manufacturing facility by ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements, company safety standards and industry best practices. The Safety Officer shall proactively identify hazards, eliminate risks, conduct investigations, drive safety culture and ensure safe execution of all manufacturing, maintenance and project activities.

Responsibility:
- Develop, implement and monitor the plant safety management system.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, statutory requirements and ISO 14001/45001.
- Conduct plant safety inspections, audits and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA).
- Administer the Permit to Work system (Hot Work, Height, Confined Space, Electrical, Excavation, Lifting and Line Breaking).
- Lead incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA and lessons learned.
- Manage contractor safety, inductions and compliance.
- Maintain fire protection systems, emergency
