The Role

We are looking for a senior, internationally experienced Head of International Business Development to build and lead Biodeal's export and global client strategy. Reporting directly to the Chairman and MD, this is a foundational appointment - Biodeal's IBD function is being expanded, and the person who joins will define what it becomes.

This role sits alongside the Head of Domestic BD and reports into the same senior leadership structure. Where the domestic head owns the India market,



this role owns the world beyond it - regulated and semi-regulated markets, international CDMO clients, export partnerships, and Biodeal's global commercial positioning.

Key Responsibilities

International Market Strategy

• Own and develop Biodeal's international BD strategy across regulated markets and semi-regulated markets

• Identify priority markets, product-market fit, and regulatory pathways for each geography based on Biodeal's manufacturing capabilities

• Build the commercial pipeline for Biodeal's CDMO services internationally - nasal spray, injectable, oral solid dose, and nutraceutical formulations

• Develop pricing strategies for international supply that reflect regulatory certification value without commoditising Biodeal's quality positioning

Client Acquisition & Export Partnerships

• Identify, approach, and close international CDMO clients - pharma companies, brand owners, and distributors acro
