About the role:

We are hiring a Video Editor to own the entire editing function at Indian Farmer.

This role is responsible for all video edits published by the brand, end-to-end. The editor is accountable for creative quality, delivery speed, and building systems so editing runs independently and at scale.

This is a high-ownership, high-output, creative, in-office role.

Key Responsibilities:

Editing Ownership:

Edit all videos published by Indian Farmer, including long-form, short-form, podcasts, and experimental formats. Ensure strong storytelling, pacing, retention, subtitles, BGM usage, sound design, and visual consistency.





Creative Judgment

Define and execute narrative flow, hooks, transitions, on-screen text (bullets, captions), graphics, animations, and visual rhythm, aligned with current platform trends and algorithms.

Speed & Execution:

Manage multiple projects in parallel and deliver fast while meeting defined quality benchmarks and timelines.

Systems & Operations:

Create and maintain editing SOPs, workflows, templates, documentation and file structures.

Own the editing software stack, hardware requirements, data storage, and data hygiene.

AI & Tools:

Use AI tools for editing and workflow optimisation. Regularly upgrade tools and document best practices.

Qualifications:

∙ Experience:

2–4 years of qualified video editing experience or an equivalent portfolio.

∙ Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, and export settings for different platforms.
