millions of users through integrated primary care, wellness, insurance, and OPD benefits. We are building healthcare
infrastructure at scale, including a government-partnered AI healthcare program in Goa, while our engineering
organisation prepares for IPO readiness over the next three years.
We are formalising a dedicated Quality Engineering function and hiring a cohort of SDET interns who will graduate
into full time Software Development Engineers in Test. This is an engineering role: you will write code, build tools, and
own systems. Your output is software that tests software.
What an SDET Does at Visit Health
Finding bugs is table stakes. Our SDETs:
- Write production-grade code in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python,



or Java to build and maintain test frameworks.
- Design and implement automation across UI (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium), API (REST Assured, Supertest,
Postman/Newman), mobile (Appium, Detox), and load/performance testing (k6, JMeter).
- Build internal tooling such as test-data generators, mock services, fixture pipelines, flaky-test detectors, and CI
dashboards.
- Own CI/CD test pipelines and make them fast, reliable, and trusted by developers.
- Work within engineering squads as the test-engineering counterpart to developers: review code, write tests
alongside features, and gate releases on defined quality signals.
- Investigate production incidents, write regression tests that would have caught them, and harden systems against
repeat failures.
- Maintain Jira tickets and test documentation, and use AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude and GPT effectively.
