The PDP Group is seeking an experienced Senior Executive – Accounts to support and oversee accounting operations while leading a team of accounting professionals. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in the logistics, shipping, or transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Review team outputs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies

✅ Train, mentor, and support team members to enhance performance and productivity

✅ Act as the first point of escalation for accounting-related issues within the team

✅ Coordinate with management to drive process improvements and strengthen team effectiveness

✅ Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions

✅ Review accounting entries, invoices, vouchers, and reconciliations prepared by team members

✅ Ensure timely completion of bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and customer account reconciliations

✅ Monitor receivables and payables and coordinate follow-ups where required

✅ Ensure compliance with GST,



TDS, and other statutory requirements

✅ Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

✅ Prepare and review MIS reports for management review

✅ Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities

✅ Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

✅ Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company procedures

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 10–15 years of accounting experience
- Experience in a logistics, shipping, transportation, freight forwarding, CHA, or supply chain organization (preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in team handling, supervision, or leadership roles
- Robust proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software
- Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and r
