We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cath Lab Technician to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a multispecialty hospital. The role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting cardiologists during procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Cath Lab for procedures such as coronary angiography, angioplasty (PTCA), and device implantation.
- Assist cardiologists during interventional procedures (angiograms, stenting, pacemaker insertion).
- Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring systems).
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Monitor patient vitals and cardiac rhythms during procedures.
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Handle and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies.
- Assist in emergency situations such as cardiac arrest.
- Document procedure details and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure radiation safety practices for patients and staff.
Qualifications Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor s degree in Cardiac Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
- Certification in Cath Lab Technology (preferred).
- 3-9 years of Cath Lab experience preferred (freshers with relevant training may apply).
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures.

- Understanding of sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.
