Role Summary
The Oracle FCCS Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle FCCS solutions to streamline financial consolidation, close, and reporting processes. The consultant works with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, develop system configurations, and support end-to-end project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to financial consolidation and reporting.
- Conduct workshops with finance and accounting stakeholders.
- Configure Oracle FCCS to meet business and reporting requirements.
- Design and support:
- Financial Consolidation
- Intercompany Eliminations
- Currency Translation
- Cash Flow Reporting
- Statutory Reporting
- Management Reporting
- Prepare functional and technical design documents.
Technical Responsibilities
- Configure FCCS metadata, dimensions, and application settings.
- Develop and maintain:
- Business Rules
- Configurable Calculations
- Data Forms
- Smart View Templates
- Financial Reports
- Dashboards
- Support data integration activities using Data Management/FDMEE.
- Perform application migrations across environments.
- Troubleshoot system issues and optimize application performance.
Project Delivery
- Participate in all phases of implementation projects including:
- Requirements Gathering
- Design
- Development
- Testing
- Deployment
- Hypercare Support
- Execute unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide production support and issue resolution.
Collaboration
- Work closely with finance, accounting, IT, and business teams.
- Coordinate with project managers and technical architects.
- Support knowledge transfer and end-user training activities.
