Role & responsibilities
- Must have an minimum of 2 to 3 yrs hands-on experience in ETL/Datawarehouse and Data migration testing
- Validation: ETL and Datawarehouse Testing processes to ensure Data completeness and accuracy
- Test planning: Experience in analyzing Data Mapping documents and Develop test cases, plans, and complex SQL scripts
- Data quality assurance: Identifying and documenting discrepancies, and working with development teams to resolve issues and re-test
- Automated testing: Creating and maintaining automated test scripts
- Reporting: Preparing and presenting detailed test reports, highlighting risks and issues
- Robust understanding of various testing cycles and release activities, Good in written and verbal communication
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts,



test results and test status
- Experience testing Waterfall/Agile Development Projects
- Hands on experience in relational databases and database architecture. Understanding data models and ER diagrams
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions,facts

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates need to have hands-on experience in ETL Testing, Date warehouse testing.

SQL, UNIX, Python, HDFS, BI Reports

IBM DB2, Cloudera HIVE, SQL Server,Teradata SQL Assisttant

Exposure to IICS/Informatica/DataStage/ODI
