The IT Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the IT Hardware lead by ensuring smooth day to day functioning of hardware and network systems. This role will helps reduce systems downtime through timely troubleshooting and routine maintenance. By handling operational tasks, the IT Assistant allows the IT Hardware personal to focus on strategic planning and infrastructure upgrades.
1. Installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals and networking equipment (LAN/Wi-Fi).
2. Troubleshooting hardware, software and network connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.
3. Managing system backups, antivirus updates, and basic IT Security protocols.
4. Providing technical support to staff for day to day IT and network related issues.
5. Assisting in inventory management and documentation of IT Assets and network infrastructure.
Preferred candidate profile
A 12th pass or a BSc graduate with 2 years of experience in managing IT hardware operations.
