About the Role
We are looking for an
experienced Sales Leader
to drive business growth across India by building long-term customer relationships and delivering technical, solution-based sales. This is a field-oriented leadership role that combines business development, key account management, technical discussions, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and Annual Business Plan (ABP) targets.
- Visit customer manufacturing facilities regularly to understand production challenges and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Build relationships with production heads, plant managers, quality teams, procurement professionals, and business owners.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, order closure, and post-sales relationship management.
- Identify recent market opportunities and expand business across existing and new industry segments.
- Lead commercial discussions while collaborating with technical teams for solution development.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training sessions.
- Support customers during product trials, implementation, and troubleshooting when required.
- Analyse sales performance, customer trends, and market intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and develop the sales team to become consultative solution sellers.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports.
- Report business performance directly to senior management.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical discipline (preferred).
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in B2B industrial, engineering, manufacturing, capital equipment, specialty chemicals, or technical solution sales.
