Candidates with experience in Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript are preferred.
Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks covering web, mobile browser, native mobile, and API testing
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable test scripts following established design patterns and coding standards
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and build test coverage from the ground up
- Leverage AI-assisted automation tools and LLM models to accelerate test script generation, reduce manual scripting effort, and continuously improve test coverage
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure stable, reliable execution across environments
- Perform cross-platform testing, validating user journeys that span web and mobile applications end to end
- Conduct API testing and database-level validation to ensure data integrity across the application stack
- Contribute to test data management strategies like including seeding, cleanup, and environment-specific configuration
- Monitor test execution, investigate failures, and drive continuous improvements in test stability and coverage
- Work with cloud-based real device platforms to ensure consistent behavior across operating systems and device types
- Participate in release validation like functional, regression, compatibility, and accessibility testing across platforms
- Assists and support junior engineers and manual testers transitioning to automation
- Stay current with industry trends and proactively recommend tools or approaches that improve quality and efficiency
- Solid communication is an essential parameter for this role
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2 - 6 years of QA automation experience across web and mobi
