This role is critical in supporting design-to-cost initiatives by working closely with product engineering teams to influence cost-effective design decisions early in the development cycle. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of electrical and electronics components such as transformers, reactors, breakers, switches, and electronic modules, and will be responsible for cost improvement, design analysis and building accurate cost models.

Job Summary:

This role is critical in supporting design-to-cost initiatives by working closely with product engineering teams to influence cost-effective design decisions early in the development cycle.



The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of electrical and electronics components such as transformers, reactors, breakers, switches, and electronic modules, and will be responsible for cost improvement, design analysis and building accurate cost models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to understand design intent and cost drivers.
- Activities related to the principles of Electrical engineering, Design Calculations, analysis, manufacturing
- Knowledge and experience of finite element analysis – Simulation tools deals magnetics, Short circuit study and Arc Flash Analysis
- Prepare reports and documentation required for project delivery.
- Specifications of key components such as Inductor, Transformer, Capacitors, Busbar laminates, cooling systems and translate design intent to stakeholders
