Roles and Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical dictation from healthcare professionals into electronic health records (EHRs) or paper charts.
- Review and edit transcripts for accuracy, completeness, and quality before submission.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to medical record documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and guidelines for medical transcription best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1-6 years of experience in medical transcription or a related field.
- Solid typing skills with an average speed of at least 40 wpm.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
