Position Summary
The Global HEOR Evidence Synthesis Manager plays a critical role in supporting Amgens global market access and health economics strategy through contributing statistical capabilities and methodological leadership for evidence synthesis methodologies (meta-analyses ITCs). This role will partner closely with Global HEOR Product Leads to ensure solid alignment with product strategy. The Evidence Synthesis Senior Manager will lead different evidence pooling analyses ranging from meta-analyses, network meta-analyses to population-adjusted indirect treatment comparisons (MAICs and STCs) and health-economic analyses facilitating HTA and payer decision-making.
Educational Qualifications
ABachelors, Master''s or Doctoral-level degree in applied statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, health economics, pharmacy, and related quantitative fields
Required experience/ knowledge
- Years of relevant experience in evidence synthesis and statistical analyses in the pharmaceutical, biotech or consulting setting: +12 years for Masters degree and +14 years for Bachelors degree.
- Expertise in research design and statistical methods, including estimating survival, pooled treatment effects and other methods to estimate treatment effect
- Experience in leading health economic analyses such as cost-effectiveness/cost-utility (e.g., markov, partitioned survival model), cost minimization, budget impact, and other techniques, as appropriate
- Proficiency with modeling and statistical tools such as Excel, WinBugs, OpenBugs, JAGS, R or Python.
- Experience in AI/ ML techniques and Bayesian statistics is a plus.
