We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Archiving with ILM Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP Data Archiving and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions across SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP Data Archiving, ILM policies, retention management, legal hold, and SAP administration related to data lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support SAP Data Archiving solutions using SAP ILM.
- Configure and manage SAP ILM retention rules, retention management, and legal hold processes.
- Execute and monitor SAP archiving objects across SAP systems.
- Work with business stakeholders to define data retention and compliance requirements.
- Perform archive administration, storage management, and archive retrieval.
- Optimize database growth through effective data archiving strategies.
- Collaborate with Basis, Functional, and Security teams during implementation.
- Troubleshoot archiving failures and performance issues.
- Support SAP upgrade and migration projects involving archived data.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer documents.
- Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills:
- 5–8 years of SAP experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Data Archiving.
- Strong experience with SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).
Expertise in:
- SAP Archive Development Kit (ADK)
- Archive Administration (SARA)
- SAP ILM Retention Management
- ILM Legal Hold
- Archive Information System (AIS)
- ArchiveLink
- Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA database concepts related to archiving.
- Experience with archive object configuration and execution.
- Understanding of database growth management and data volume management.
- Familiarity with SAP authorization concepts related to ILM.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Data Archiving.
- Knowledge of SAP C
