- Legal compliance as per NABH: Ensuring the hospital complies with all state and federal regulations for hiring, firing, benefits, and other HR issues
- Employee relations: Handling employee relations issues, including grievances, performance, and general employee counseling
- Benefits: Administering employee benefit programs
- Training: Coordinating training initiatives for hospital staff
- Payroll: Overseeing payroll processes
- Certification compliance: Monitoring certification compliance and ensuring employees are current with legally mandated certifications
- Safety and welfare: Developing programs to reduce workplace fatalities and injuries, and promoting secure handling of hazardous chemicals and dangerous equipment
- Culture: Maintaining company culture and motivating employees
