Role Overview

The General Manager – Administration will be responsible for leading and managing the University’s administrative and campus operations to ensure smooth, protected, efficient, and cost-effective functioning of the residential campus. The role requires a proactive leader who can oversee facilities, engineering, security, transport, hostels, housekeeping, horticulture, and vendor management while driving operational excellence through robust systems, compliance, and service standards.

The incumbent will work closely with the University leadership to implement strategic initiatives, strengthen governance, and enhance the overall campus experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Campus Administration

· Lead the overall administration and day-to-day operations of the University campus.





· Ensure seamless functioning of academic and administrative infrastructure.

· Develop and implement administrative policies, SOPs, and operational guidelines.

· Monitor statutory compliance related to campus administration.

Facilities & Infrastructure Management

· Oversee maintenance of academic buildings, hostels, residential quarters, sports facilities, utilities, and common areas.

· Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, civil, HVAC, plumbing, DG sets, water supply, sewage systems, and related infrastructure.

· Coordinate campus expansion, renovation, and infrastructure development projects.

Security & Safety

· Supervise campus security operations and ensure a safe and secure environment.

· Oversee fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, disaster management, and crisis response protocols.

· Liaise with local administration, police, and statutory authorities when required.

Transport Management
