What you’ll own
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices applications.
- Build, enhance, and consume RESTful APIs for enterprise integrations.
- Develop scalable, reliable, and resilient backend services using Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS cloud architecture.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, DevOps teams, and other engineering groups to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms using modern security standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support timely resolution of incidents.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and engineering best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and support deployment activities across environments.
What you’ll bring
- Java,
Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API, DB2, SQL, PostgreSQL JDBC, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Strong experience with Java 11 and/or Java 17.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot application development.
- Experience with Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
- Experience implementing application security using Spring Security.
- Solid experience in REST API design and development.
- Experience processing JSON and XML payloads.
- Experience with Swagger/Open API documentation.
- Hands-on experience using Postman for API testing and validation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Jenkins pipelines.
- Experience with Maven, including spring-boot-maven-plugin.
- Experience using Lombok to reduce boilerplate code.
- Hands-on experience writing SQL queries in databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of AWS services such as Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Amazon S
