Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Management Coordinator (QMC) to join our manufacturing team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will be the bridge between production, quality assurance, and buying house requirements. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality process from pre-production to final shipment, ensuring that all garments meet international quality standards and buyer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Oversight:
Monitor and control quality at every stage of productionfrom fabric inspection and cutting to sewing, finishing, and packing.
- Compliance & Standards:
Ensure all products comply with the buyers Quality Manual, AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards, and technical specifications.
- Pre-Production Coordination:
Actively participate in Pre-Production (PP) meetings to identify potential quality risks and provide technical solutions before bulk production begins.
- Process Audits:
Conduct regular inline and end-line inspections to track production quality, flag defects early, and coordinate immediate corrective actions with the production team.
- Documentation:
Maintain meticulous records of inspection reports, test reports, and quality SOPs. Generate daily/weekly quality performance reports for management.
- Sample Approval:
Assist in the evaluation of samples (Size-sets, Pilot runs, Pre-shipment samples) and manage feedback loops between the factory floor and the merchandising team.
- Liaison:
Act as the primary point of contact for external quality auditors and buying house representatives d
