Job Summary The Project Manager (PM)-Books and Digital Products will be responsible for overseeing the entire editorial and production process of the books assigned based on either of the two workflows: (i) from the stage of receiving manuscripts from authors, managing the editorial development stage, managing production stages, to the stage of the title s publication, or (ii) taking up the production tasks post development and seeing it through till the publication stage.

Roles Responsibilities




- Conduct reviews and quality checks at various stages in the editorial and production work (review of raw manuscript, copyedited files, proofs, eflows, fine-tuned pages).
- Must ensure quality and adherence to schedule in manuscript gathering, pre-editing, copyediting, eflow creation, typesetting, author s review, proofs revision(s), and sending to print.
- Manage relationships, share information, and coordinate work with all stakeholders.
- Must plan and judge how long each production processing step would take, the complexities and nuances involved, discern any potential problem, suggest solutions, and plan the work accordingly.
- Must coordinate the work of any artwork processing requirements with the medical illustration artist, the Production Editor, and the typesetter.
- Must maintain good relationships and proactively communicate for schedules and review inputs with book Editors and contributing authors, keeping the best
