About the Role

We are looking for a
UAV pilot (conventional fixed-wing aircraft)
to conduct flight testing, evaluation, and validation of conventional fixed-wing unmanned aircraft. This is
not a commercial airline pilot role
. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in flying fixed-wing UAVs, understanding flight dynamics, and supporting flight test operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct flight testing of conventional fixed-wing UAVs in accordance with test plans.
- Perform pre-flight inspections, system checks, and post-flight debriefs.
- Execute manual and autonomous flight missions.
- Monitor aircraft performance and identify anomalies during flight tests.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and test reports.
- Coordinate with design, avionics, and software engineering teams during development and testing.




- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting and validating design improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, aviation, or a related field.
- Freshers with demonstrable hands-on experience
in fixed-wing UAV operations are welcome.
- Experience flying
conventional fixed-wing UAVs
through academic projects, internships, research labs, defense projects, UAV clubs, or competitions.
- Valuable understanding of:
- Flight dynamics and aircraft stability
- Flight planning and mission execution
- UAV safety procedures
- RC aircraft operations and ground control stations
- Ability to interpret flight data and support test analysis.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Pixhawk, ArduPilot, PX4, or similar autopilot systems.
- Familiarity with Mission Planner or QGroundControl.
- Knowledge of telemetry systems and UAV c
