1. Financial Statements Review

* Review monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements prepared by team (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

* Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements.

* Review schedules and supporting workings for all balance sheet items.

* Ensure proper classification of assets, liabilities, income, and expenses.

* Review consolidation workings for group entities (if applicable).

* Identify unusual transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment.

* Ensure adequate provisions, accruals, and adjustments are recorded.

* Review related party transactions and disclosures.

* Finalize FS for management review and audit.

2. Books Closure (Month-end / Year-end)

* Review and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing for multiple clients.

* Review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions.

* Review bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations.

* Review Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ageing.

* Ensure all closing checklists are completed.





* Coordinate with team to transparent pending items before closing.

* Ensure proper documentation and audit trail is maintained.

* Review inventory valuation (FIFO / Weighted Average).

* Review stock reconciliation between physical stock vs system stock.

* Review inventory ageing and slow-moving / obsolete stock provision.

* Review GRN, delivery notes, and inventory adjustments.

* Ensure correct COGS calculation.

* Identify negative stock and valuation errors.

3. Analysis Report Review

Senior should review and comment on:

* Revenue increase/decrease – reason

* GP margin changes

* Expense variance vs prior month

* Expense variance vs budget

* Abnormal / one-time expenses

* Net profit trend

* Receivable days / ageing issues

* Payable days

* Inventory days

* Cash flow position

* Loan balances and interest

* Related party balances

* VAT receivable/payable

* Gross Profit %

* Net Profit %
