We are looking for a dedicated Transplant Coordinator to manage and coordinate the complete transplant journey for patients. The ideal candidate will work closely with consultants, ICU, OT, laboratory, patients, donor families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth coordination of transplant procedures while complying with legal and hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate pre-transplant evaluation and ensure timely completion of investigations.
- Schedule patient appointments with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for transplant patients and their families.
- Coordinate patient registration and maintain transplant waiting lists.
- Counsel patients and families regarding living and deceased donor transplantation.
- Coordinate brain death certification and organ donation activities as per legal guidelines.
- Liaise with ICU, Operation Theatre (OT), Laboratory, and transplant teams for seamless transplant coordination.
- Coordinate donor and recipient work-up, blood investigations, and cross-matching.
- Ensure completion of all legal documentation, informed consent, and transplant records.
- Coordinate patient admissions and support transplant procedures before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain accurate pre-transplant and post-transplant records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, transplant regulations, and quality standards.
