Role & responsibilities

1. Finance & Accounts

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including Balance

Sheet, Profit & Loss, MIS, Cash Flow, and Audit Reports.

• Analyze financial performance through variance analysis, segment reporting, and

profitability tracking.

• Develop and oversee general ledger and financial reporting processes in compliance

with accounting standards.

• Implement and monitor commercial and financial control systems.

• Oversee stock verification, inventory valuation, and fixed asset management.

2. Product Costing & Profitability

• Lead product costing to support order conversion and business growth.

• Monitor profitability at order and plant levels.

• Conduct contribution analysis and track cost recovery.

• Provide cost-related MIS to support strategic decision-making.

3. Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws including Income Tax, GST, PF, ESI, Qualified

Tax, and other regulatory requirements.

• Liaise with government authorities and ensure timely statutory filings and assessments.





• Handle statutory, internal, and bank audits.

4. Commercial Operations

• Develop and implement commercial policies, systems, and procedures across the

organization.

• Vet and finalize contracts, agreements, and commercial documents (sales, purchase,

and service agreements).

• Manage Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and import/export

documentation.

• Coordinate with regulatory authorities for licenses, approvals, and compliance.

• Handle international commercial negotiations and correspondence.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate and oversee activities across Purchase, Stores, Admin, and HR functions.

• Ensure alignment of commercial practices across departments.

6. Auditing & Taxation

• Oversee income tax, TDS, GST compliance, and statutory filings.

• Ensure timely tax payments and handling of assessments.

• Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors
