About the Role
Shivalic Power Control Limited is seeking an experienced Business Head EHV
Substation to lead the growth, business expansion, tendering strategy, and execution support
of our Extra High Voltage (EHV) Substation business. The ideal candidate will possess
strong expertise in business development, EPC projects, tendering, estimation, commercial
strategy, client relationship management, and P&L; responsibility within the power
transmission sector.
The role requires end-to-end leadershipfrom identifying business opportunities and driving
strategic growth to leading tendering activities, bid management, commercial negotiations,
and successful project acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy
• Develop and execute business strategies for EHV Substation EPC projects (220kV
400kV).
• Identify, qualify,



and secure recent business opportunities with utilities, government
organizations, renewable energy developers, transmission companies, and private
sector clients.
• Develop strategic partnerships to expand the company's market presence.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, upcoming transmission projects, and
business opportunities.
• Drive annual business plans, revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Tendering & Bid Management
• Lead end-to-end tendering activities for EHV Substation EPC projects.
• Review and analyze tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, drawings,
contractual terms, and commercial conditions.
• Define bid strategy, pricing strategy, and commercial approach to maximize bid
competitiveness.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Projects, Estimation, Finance, Legal, and
Business Development teams for timely bid preparation.
