Procure raw materials, components required for production.
Obtain quotations from vendors and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Coordinate with production, stores, and quality departments to ensure material availability.
Monitor inventory levels and plan purchase accordingly.
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
Evaluate supplier performance and identify new sourcing opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
4–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of tractor parts, engineering components, or automotive manufacturing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
