Your Opportunity
As an AR/VR Developer on BeGig, you’ll work on freelance projects focused on building immersive Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) experiences for industries such as gaming, education, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, real estate, and training. You’ll help organizations create interactive, engaging, and high-performance immersive applications—without the constraints of a traditional full-time role.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop
AR, VR, and Mixed Reality applications
- Build immersive experiences using Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms
- Develop interactive 3D environments, simulations, and real-time visualizations
- Integrate AR/VR applications with AI, IoT, cloud services, and enterprise systems where required
- Optimize rendering performance and user experience across devices
- Work with 3D models, animations, shaders,
and physics systems
- Integrate hardware such as Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, HTC Vive, HoloLens, or mobile AR devices
- Test, debug, and deploy immersive applications across supported platforms
- Collaborate with designers, 3D artists, AI engineers, and product teams
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in
AR/VR application development
- Proficiency in Unity, Unreal Engine, C#, C++, or related technologies
- Experience with ARKit, ARCore, OpenXR, MRTK, or XR Interaction Toolkit
- Familiarity with 3D graphics, animation, shaders, and rendering pipelines
- Understanding of spatial computing, user interaction, and immersive UX principles
- Experience with mobile, desktop, or standalone VR headset deployments
- Knowledge of AI, computer vision, or multiplayer networking is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and optimization skills
- A self-driven freelancer who can independently deliver imm
