Job Description:
As an EEG Technician at Manipal Hospitals, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram tests to evaluate and diagnose neurological conditions. Additionally, you will assist physicians in interpreting the results and providing necessary documentation for patient care. Your role will involve direct interaction with patients, where you will explain the procedure, ensure their comfort, and maintain a calm and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for EEG tests following established protocols.
- Conduct EEG recordings and monitor patient responses during the procedure.
- Ensure the proper functioning and calibration of EEG equipment.
- Maintain records of EEG tests, including data analysis and results for physician review.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about the EEG procedure and any necessary post-procedure care.
Skills and Tools Required:
