Costing & Estimation Engineer

Qualification:
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and techno-commercial quotations for TTA/PTTA Panels, HT Panels (11KV & 33KV), PCC, MCC, VFD, PLC, APFC, and Control Panels.
- Review customer RFQs, specifications, SLDs, and technical drawings to prepare detailed BOQs and BOMs.
- Estimate material, fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning costs.
- Select suitable electrical components such as MCCB, ACB, VCB, contactors, relays, VFDs, busbars, CTs, PTs, and protection devices.
- Coordinate with the Design, Procurement, and Sales teams for technical clarifications and optimized costing.
- Obtain vendor quotations and perform price comparisons to achieve competitive pricing.
- Prepare techno-commercial offers and tender documentation within specified timelines.




- Maintain costing databases, component price lists, and estimation records.
- Support value engineering and cost optimization without compromising quality or applicable standards.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of TTA/PTTA Panels, HT Switchgear (11KV & 33KV), MCCB, VFD, PCC, MCC, and Control Panels.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, GA drawings, and BOMs.
- Experience in electrical panel costing, estimation, and tender preparation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN Electric P8, or ERP software is an added advantage.
- Positive analytical, commercial, and communication skills.
