We are looking for a commercially minded, agile professional either a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) AND/OR Company Secretary (CS) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to build our corporate engine from the ground up.

The Role & Responsibilities

As our Finance & Compliance Associate, you will own Koonja's financial health and governance:
- Finance & Reporting: Own end-to-end accounting, monthly financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), and period closures.
- Financial Modelling & Planning: Build, maintain, and update financial models for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and business valuation to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
- Internal Controls: Implement robust financial controls (IFC) and SOPs across procurement and inventory.
- Audit & Tax: Direct statutory audits and manage GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
- Secretarial & ROC: Handle board meetings, resolutions, statutory registers, and ROC filings.
- Operations & Law: Align with supply chain on tax issues and ensure strict company law compliance.





Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) AND/OR Company Secretary (CS).
- Experience: 0-3 years of post-qualification experience. *(Prior experience in D2C, FMCG, or Food Tech startups is highly preferred).*
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets and standard accounting or compliance tools.
- Core Traits: A deep commitment to ethics and integrity, and a startup mindset comfortable building processes from scratch.
