- Implement and monitor hospital fire safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments in patient care areas, ICUs, OTs, laboratories, pharmacies, and utility areas.
- Ensure adherence to Fire Department regulations, National Building Code (NBC), and hospital safety standards.
- Identify fire hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Ensure proper functioning of fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, hydrants, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and public address systems.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and testing of all fire protection equipment.
- Maintain records of inspections, maintenance schedules, and equipment certifications.
- Monitor the availability and readiness of firefighting equipment throughout the hospital.
- Develop and update hospital fire emergency and evacuation plans.
- Coordinate emergency response during fire incidents and other disasters.
- Lead evacuation procedures while ensuring patient safety, especially for critical care and non-ambulatory patients.
- Coordinate with local fire services, police, and emergency response agencies.
- Participate in hospital disaster management committee meetings and preparedness programs.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
