Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons for Grades XI & XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare students for board examinations through effective teaching, assessments, and revision strategies.
- Foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and practical application of biological concepts.
- Conduct laboratory experiments while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Design lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and evaluate student performance regularly.
- Monitor academic progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Participate in school events, examinations, faculty meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in Biology/Life Sciences (M.Sc. Biology/Botany/Zoology or equivalent) with B.Ed.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools, preferably handling Grades XI & XII.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with CBSE curriculum and board examination patterns.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and educational technology.
Preferred Skills
- Student-centric and inquiry-based teaching approach.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Ability to mentor students for competitive examinations such as NEET is an added advantage.
- Passion for continuous learning and team-oriented teaching.
