Job Purpose:

To manage and maintain horticulture, landscaping, plantation, and greenbelt development activities across the plant premises, ensuring aesthetic enhancement, environmental sustainability, and compliance with statutory environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Horticulture & Landscaping
- Plan, develop, and maintain horticulture and landscaping activities across plant, township, and office premises.
- Supervise plantation drives, greenbelt development, lawn maintenance, and ornamental garden upkeep.
- Ensure healthy growth and maintenance of trees, shrubs, flowers, and decorative plants.
- Develop seasonal plantation plans and beautification projects.

Greenbelt Development
- Implement greenbelt development programs as per environmental guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Monitor plant survival rates and undertake gap filling and replacement plantation activities.
- Maintain records related to plantation, species inventory, and greenbelt coverage.

Nursery Management
- Manage nursery operations, including propagation, seedling development,



and plant procurement.
- Ensure availability of quality saplings and horticultural materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for plants, fertilizers, pesticides, and gardening equipment.

Irrigation & Plant Health Management
- Monitor irrigation systems and optimize water usage for horticulture activities.
- Identify and control pest and disease infestations through appropriate treatments.
- Ensure proper application of fertilizers, manure, and soil conditioners.

Team Management
- Supervise gardeners, contractors, and outsourced manpower engaged in horticulture activities.
- Allocate work, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules.
- Conduct training on gardening practices, safety, and environmental awareness.

Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on horticulture activities.
