Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Ambattur, Chennai

Overview

The Business Analyst (BA) acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into clear technical requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions. The ideal candidate has robust analytical skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and technical specifications.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews to understand current-state workflows.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.

Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with software engineers, solution architects, QA testers, and product owners to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical teams.




- Participate in technical solutioning, feasibility assessments, and impact analysis for system changes.

Process & System Design
- Create detailed process maps, data flows, sequence diagrams, and system interaction models.
- Support the design and optimization of business processes and systems.
- Assist in defining data models, API requirements, and integration needs when applicable.

Project Support
- Support Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
- Manage and prioritize product backlog items in collaboration with Product Owners.
- Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing): define test scenarios, support users, track defects, and assist in validation.

Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user guides, release notes, and training materials.
- Provide regular project updates, risk/issue tracking, and progress reporting to stakeholders.
