Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Overall Experience: 6+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or ETL Development.
- Lead and mentor a team of ETL developers and data analysts, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Design & Strategy: Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Data Warehousing (DWH) and ETL/ELT solutions.
- Data Modeling:



Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using industry best practices (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault).
- Performance Tuning: Write, optimize, and debug highly complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL jobs to ensure peak system performance.

Technical Skills
- Expert-Level SQL: Mastery of advanced SQL functions, window functions, indexing, partition strategies, and query optimization.
- Data Warehousing Concepts: Deep understanding of OLAP vs. OLTP, ETL/ELT methodologies, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Types 1/2/3).
- ETL Tools: Proficiency in enterprise ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, IBM DataStage, SSIS) OR contemporary programmatic orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, DBT, Prefect).

Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
