Role & responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the Operation Theatre before, during, and after surgeries.
- Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and OT nurses during surgical procedures.
- Ensure proper functioning of OT equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain infection control and aseptic protocols.
- Manage OT inventory, consumables, and surgical instruments.
- Assist in patient positioning and transfer as required.
- Complete OT documentation as per hospital protocols.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of experience as an OT Technician in a multi-specialty hospital.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
- Knowledge of OT protocols, sterilization, and infection control.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
