Role & responsibilities

Chassis System Development engineer to support ongoing and upcoming vehicle programs. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end chassis system development activities, including concept evaluation, component engineering, validation, vehicle integration, issue resolution, and supplier coordination.

The role requires hands-on experience in chassis system development and validation with strong understanding of Chassis systems like Brake system, corner module, Fuel system, powertrain / motor mounts, exhaust, vehicle dynamics, and automotive product development processes.

Role: development activities for chassis systems including:

Strong knowledge of System Development, Vehicle Dynamics, Ride & Handling, Durability Requirements, Chassis Integration

Exposure to EV vehicle programs will be an added advantage.

Support target setting and benchmarking activities for current vehicle programs. Develop system and component-level technical requirements. Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with project milestones. Work closely with design,



vehicle integration, testing, manufacturing, quality, purchasing teams and suppliers. Drive engineering issue resolution during development and validation stages.

Plan and support component-level and vehicle-level validation activities.

Participate in chassis performance evaluations including:

Ride & Handling, Braking Performance, Durability Testing, Vehicle Dynamics Assessment, Analyze test data and recommend design improvements, Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for validation issues, Prepare technical reports and present findings to project stakeholders, Supplier Management & Cross-functional Coordination, Coordinate with suppliers for component development and technical reviews, Monitor supplier deliverables against project timelines, Support APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, DVP&R;, and Engineering Change Management activities, Particip
