Essential Job Functions:

Y-Hire Accounting Consultant

This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements for clients. This role is primarily remote with less than 10% potential travel.

Responsibilities:




- Monthly recurring accounting services for clients
- Review vendor invoices for appropriate accounting recording.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Record bank account and credit card transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Assist with payroll management through ADP, Gusto, or other payroll provider.
- Perform account reconciliations for all significant balance sheet accounts.
- Complete full-cycle accounting activities, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, etc.
- Prepare month-end financial reports including the Comparative Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, and other related specialized reports based on management needs.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, financial reporting, and analyses.
- Prepare payroll entries and monthly accruals.
- Special projects such as accounting records cleanup, budgets and forecast
